Spray tan artists, I say this with love: if you’ve added extra steps, extra products, and extra skill to your appointment but you’re still charging your basic tan price, we need to talk.
I understand how it happens. You learn something new and start doing it for clients because you want them to love their results. Then it becomes part of your routine, and suddenly you’re providing an upgraded service for free.
When I added Soft Girl Contour™, I gave clients a choice: book a beautiful traditional spray tan or book a tan with customized, softly blended contour. Two different services, two different prices. That made the value clear for both of us.
Even a small price difference can add up. If your regular tan is $65 and your contour tan is $75, that’s an extra $10 each time a client chooses the upgrade. Twenty contour appointments a month would bring in $200 more in revenue, before added costs. Your own price should account for your time, products, skill, and market.
Here’s where confidence comes in. It’s much easier to charge for an upgraded service when you know exactly how to deliver it. You can explain what the client is paying for, customize the result, and feel good about putting it on your menu.
I created my Virtual Soft Girl Contour™ Training to help artists get there. In a private one-hour Zoom, I teach the technique and guide you through practice on a live model. You’ll receive my 50+ page manual and printables, a personalized blueprint, demo access, product and solution recommendations, a recording of our session, and seven days of Q&A support.
You don’t need to squeeze three more clients into your day to start growing. Take an honest look at the services you already provide and make sure your pricing reflects the experience.
Learn Soft Girl Contour™ virtually for $299 and build an upgrade you’re confident putting on your menu.
